“Having deliberated for over a year on which dock to buy and having had the birds nest of cheaper usb-c adapters, I finally sent for the Stone Pro. I wanted to run 2x monitors and also increase the power to my MacBook Pro (the adapters and my regular PSU were pushing the battery and it wasnâ€™t always charging "under load" from the apps & 2x monitors. First up, the Stone looks perfect - matches my MBP very well. To get 2x monitors, you need to run a HDMI lead and then either a DisplayPort OR have an active DP-HDMI adapter or lead. Once that was sorted I've been generally pretty happy. The only slight niggle is that occasionally the monitor thatâ€™s connected with the DP->HDMI adapter will stop displaying and I have to unplug, replug or open/close the MBP. It's not the worst thing, and doesnâ€™t happen too often, but it is a bit annoying when it does play up. That said, I'm pretty happy on balance and glad I bought it - I finally have "Desk Zen"”

“Good item. The device does assist in all your needs from screen setup to building the docking station that you will need from your Macbook. The ethernet port is fast!”

“I love not having to juggle 14 different adaptors while we wait for the world to transition over everything to USB-C. My life got a lot easier when I started using this product! That said, the product gets very hot & heats up my device, which I'm wary of. You also can't decide to turn off the charging function, so my laptop is sitting charged at 100% all day when I'm at my desk—which I'm also wary of.”

“I'm using the Stone Pro for a maxed-out MacBook Pro 16 always connected to a 4K monitor and sometimes a third monitor. The Stone Pro has been flawless in driving the monitors. As important, the Stone Pro's power supply has been up to the task of powering the Mac when using some extremely demanding apps that max out all 8 cores, the GPU and has the fans at full power. I'm very happy with the Stone Pro.”

“It's 2020 and I shouldn't be this excited for the fact that a laptop dock works, but I'm going to give a MASSIVE thumbs up to Henge for doing with the Stone Pro what Apple should've recognized and done on their own years ago. I've had my first Macbook since early 2017... a 13" connected to (2) 27" 4K Asus displays. The Thunderbolt display adapter bugs that these things are notorious for have plagued me since day one. OS upgrades helped, but never really solved the problem. Made moving my computer from home to office or vice a versa such a pain in the a** that I was considering going to a Windows machine when we upgrade in a year or two. The Stone Pro just works. I plug the Macbook into the single USB-C adapter and my extra displays just light up the way they should. No more flickering screens. No more connection glitching. They just connect and turn on the way any monitor should.”

“On the positive side, I have all my devices into one neat unit. On the negative side, it was pretty expensive compared to similar units on the market and I'm not convinced it is a lot better. Often seems to be pretty hot. However, it is a nice, neat and useful unit.”
