Love the convenience of the product, love how it looks on my desktop but concerned about how it drives up the heat on my macbook pro.... feel like it is burning up the laptop. ....

Unfortunately it didnt work for me. I have a macbook pro with 2 monitors, one is hdmi which I tried converting to display port but didnt work. I had to plug it directly to the computer. Also I have an external camera and microphone connected to USB ports but I literally have to reset the device evey morning to get them working.

really appreciate how well made and sturdy this device is. I could use another display port but I've managed all the same. This is a really nice dock.

Documentation is sparse. I also purchased the recommended Hedge Dock, Stone Pro. Couldn’t locate a document detailing the interconnections diagram for a docked MacPro, Monitor, Brydge Upright Dock and the Stone Pro. Somewhere along the line I stumbled across a working solution which required connecting the terminal directly to the laptop. Love the space saving feature.

I currently have my setup on a 50" wide stand-up desk that has allowed me the flexibility to have as many items on the desk as needed. The one hassle I have continuously had was the numerous hubs I have tried to connected two displays to my MacBook Pro 16. While allowing my laptop to remind open at the back corner of the desk. The Stone Pro has given the use of all my accessories to be plugged in and routed to my computer through a TB3.

I love the design and concept but it’s coming up short for me. More specifically, I have an audio interface connected to the dock. That audio interface has powered speakers attached to it. Certain connections I make to the dock make the audio interface/speaker hum and buzz with interference. So much that it’s not tolerable. I just really wanted to connect all my peripherals to this one dock and have it work. Now I’m having to figure out work-arounds. I’ve had to plug the audio interface into the computer instead of the dock (somewhat defeating the purpose of having the dock. Also, the monitor connection is an issue. When using the Display Port connection, I get that terrible hum. So, I’m using the usb-c to HDMI adapter with an HDMI cable to the monitor HDMI input. That creates enough of a lag with the mouse that it’s hard to use. I’ve got a USB-C to DisplayPort adapter coming and hope that works better. Overall, I’m getting enough function out of this that I’ll keep it but it’s falling below my needs and expectations. Documentation/manual is non-existent, useless.

Can not connect second monitor. May be a defective USB-C port on Stone Pro. Sending it back to see what the problem is. Disappointing.

After I’d installed the Stone Pro, I looked at the pile of cables and adapters it had replaced and just smiled. I work at home on a desk with a small footprint and anything that frees up space is a great bonus. Connecting my two monitors and variety of peripherals was ‘a breeze’. Looking forward to getting my 2020 Air vertical when the dock for it is available later in the year. Great products.
