The dock works just fine, except, as everyone says, it get's quite hot when working. I don't stack my MBP on top, so it's not a big problem.

I purchased the Stone Pro to provide the needed additional ports and I thought to raise the back of my Macbook Pro to facilitate typing. As far as providing the needed connectivity, the unit is superb. But it gets VERY HOT. If I prop the back of my Macbook up on the hub as designed, the Macbook cooling fan runs almost constantly because of the heat transfer from the Stone Pro.

I purchased both the Vertical Docking Station for 15-inch MBP with TB (HD05VA15MBP) and Henge Docks Stone Pro (HD02TBTBT3). These devices are connected to a brand new 2019 15" Macbook Pro running Catalina. The Stone Pro NIC works only after installing a 3rd party NIC and the DisplayPort does not work at all. The vertical dock fails to properly seat 80% to 90% of the time. I have spent HOURS working on this this topic. Being an IT professional, the product does not meet expectations. Further, the Brydge web site shows no support links for these products (firmware, etc). Not impressed

All the ports function as designed. And I’m using all of them! No hiccups at all after a month of use. My only real concern is that the unit runs very hot to the touch all the time while my MacBook Pro is plugged in. I would never sit my MBP on the unit as shown in the promo photos on the web site; the heat of the computer coupled with the heat of the Stone Pro would be asking for trouble.

I have a dual Thunderbolt display and many Apple dongles running to and from my Macbook. This Stone Pro has made things soo simple. I plug all my cables into the doc (including both of my Thunderbolts displays) and use one cable from the doc that goes to my Macbook. I love how clean my setup is now!!

The dock is a great idea, but it doesn't work with a brand new external. monitor

Now I've got one cable to connect and disconnect every time I go mobile with my 2019 MBP Pro. Life is good!
