The henge dock was supposed to be all singing, all dancing, but wouldn't allow me to connect a 2nd external monitor to my Mac Air. In the end, after pulling all my hair out, discovered that it would work if I connected the Mac direct with the 2nd monitor. After spending about $400 to get the Henge, waiting the several months for it to arrive, I was pretty pissed off that I then had to go spend another $50 on a Thunderbolt/Hdmi adaptor. It works ok, but with only 2 ports on the MacAir, I dont have any free ports now.

Been using the Stone Pro for a few months now ... The Stone Pro cleaned up my desktop more efficiently than I could have dreamed and love being able to grab and go by removing a single connection. Only negative is that the unit runs very hot ... so much so that I placed a thin strip of packing foam on top of the unit to dissipate heat and protect my 16" MacBook Pro.

Dock works great if I restart it everyday. When I wake up my computer in the morning the 2nd monitor does not wake up and I have to restart. Kind of annoying. Is there a fix? I can not see to find anything on the support page.

After receiving my stone pro, I had several issues with it. First, the display port doesn’t work with an HDMI or any type of adaptor, it MUST be used with a DisplayPort - DisplayPort cable. I did not see this anywhere on the website. Secondly, the video from the USBC out worked only intermittently, and kept dropping out. Finally, one of the usb jacks on the device doesn’t seem to respond. Brydge has been decent about getting back to me about returning my item, so I’m hopeful I’ll get a timely refund. That being said, I checked out the company on the Better Business Bureau and they have several open complaints

Just recently got a brand new Stone Pro for my new 16" MacBook Pro. All was working fine (for like a week) then out of no where, my external drives that are connected via USB-A on the dock suddenly kept being disconnected. So I thought at first that it was the drives causing the dropout. So I started connecting them with the Apple USB-C to USB-A adapter and all is fine there. Then, I started to notice that the 3.5mm audio out jack on the back of the dock was starting to have the same sort of connection issue that the USB-A ports were having. I have reset the SMC on my MacBook, which didn't help. The more and more the drives keep getting disconnected, the more likely they'll become corrupt (as one has already). I don't know if the dock's power supply should be plugged in to a serge protector power strip? Maybe it's not getting enough power? Id assume it is though because my computer's charging signal never drops. Customer service has also not helped (submitted an email on the Brydge customer support forum, no response for over a week). I just want the dock that cost over $300, to work as intended.

Power supply was faulty on the original unit I bought. The replacement had a faulty audio port. Hoping these early production issues go away quickly. Would not recommend buying right now.

I spent a lot of money on this device expecting it to solve my docking issues with multiple cords needed to plug in each time. What I got is a device that gets so hot it cooks my laptop so I have to keep them separate. It also lags in video and jerky mouse. Network speeds are good and so is usb. It is nice only plugging in one USB C for everything.

It seems to lose connections to peripherals constantly.
