Love being able to "dock" my MacBook Pro finally. The style is great and all the ports I want are there, but I'm noticing it gets pretty hot and I'm worried that will create a problem down the road. Also, I had one incident where I had a external hard drive plugged into the dock and it somehow lost connection and ejected unsafely - I lost everything in the file I was working on. I'm not 100% sure it was the dock's fault, perhaps I unknowingly nudged the hard drive and caused it to disconnect, but it did happen right after I had taken a break and my MacBook had gone into sleep mode so I'm suspicious. Giving it a 4 for now. Looking forward to continuing to test it out though and maybe that'll grow to a 5.

There is a couple of negative marks. I had to wait for over a month to receive a the most up to date keyboard this company had for my iPad Pro. And when I finally did receive it I had noticed the came out with one that has a track pad on it. Whitch is way more efficient. So basically the price and the extremely long wait for shipping is not worth it and again for some to expect and pay for the best, and they come out with some better while you wait; to me is not wort purchasing anything from this overpriced company.

Not as well made as I had expected. Ports on back particularly display port difficult to make a connection to the monitor and work. Waited two months for this. Disappointed and have returned.

I placed the order in early with shipment time within 10 days. However, about one week after order acknowledgement, I was told the goods is out of stock and will inform me the ship date once it is ready. I wait until mid Jan 2020 after I kept sending regular follow up email to customer service, got an email that the parcel has been shipped out and provided me a way bill number. I waited for 3 days and then go online to check the shipment status, again, there is no info re this WB. I contact forwarder who explained to me that the parcel was not with them yet. Eventually, I received it after another 3 days. If I know the back order situation is so bad, I will not place the order. Your Custer service is helpful, but your interns system is suck and very disappointed. I promise myself I will not buy your product again.

Got this to hook up a couple of Dell monitors with DP support to get dual screen out of a Mac Air. Turns out it works well with some constraints which I suspect are more about the Mac than the Stone Pro. I wish this unit had another USB-C port but I it working fine by using one USB-C to HDMI cable from Port 6 on the Stone Pro and the other one DisplayPort cable to Port 8 into DP on the monitor. Be aware, some older cables may not work, I'd get good new ones that support modern spec. such as 4K@60Hz.

The device was as elegant as I expected. However it was heavy didn’t seem ergonomically designed well for my Mac book pro, it had a huge heavy power supply that no matter what one did with it was cumbersome to use and impossible to hide. I needed two HDMI output ports but got only one HDMI and one display port. Frankly, I didn’t even try to use it I put it back in the box. Went to Best Buy found an aftermarket product that simply plugged into my computer and all of my peripherals plugged into it. a perfect match no power supply other than the one supplied by Apple.
