I looked around at cheaper docs and then decided to go for this and to spend the considerable extra £££s, I often have power warnings from the macbook (even with no accessories plugged in!) the HDMI port does not work very well (currently cant get it to work at all) - the cable from the dock to the Mac is ridiculously short which means I HAVE to have it right by the mac,. overall this is a massive disappointment, I have had numerous Brydge products that have been the same way, I would not buy another Brydge product, they are overpriced and they under deliver.

Hi, my new stone pro does not work properly. It over heats and glitches with the screens. Could you please assist?

I like it. adequate number of ports, matches my MacBook Pro in style and colour makes for seem-less addition to my setup. And it supports my two external monitor displays.

From an aesthetic perspective, this checks all the boxes. It's elegant, sleek, and keeps all of the cables neatly tucked away behind the device. It does run a little hot, but that's not a concern. My situation is that I'm using this with my work laptop at home (HP Elitebook 840 G6). I originally had my keyboard and mouse hooked up to a USB switch that I could toggle between my personal desktop and my work laptop. When the USB switch was connected directly to the laptop, there were no issues; mouse and keyboard worked as expected. I've since acquired the Level 1 Techs KVM, and after hooking everything up, and now connecting the KVM to the USB-C port on the Stone Pro, my mouse and keyboard are unusable. Mouse skips all over the screen, keyboard misses most presses or gets stuck on one key. I may seek to refund this device and purchase the official HP thunderbolt hub.

I bought it to connect my two monitors, webcam, keyboard to my macbook pro. It’s esthetic but merely functional. Gets super hot all the time, makes a lot of noise, would have glitches every two weeks.

Looks great but wasn’t compatible with my setup. More accurately, my setup wasn’t compatible with dock. Work laptops had USB-C but not the required Thunderbolt 2.
