“This product is terrible, it is only after my 2nd macbook pro battery replacement I realized that this is the problem. This dock heats up extremely hot. It is advertised to use as a tilt stand as well. It rests right under the battery compartment and heats up the battery causing them to swell or even explode if I didn’t catch this in time. Terrible product design, the time I’ve lost over leaving my computer at the Apple store for days to get battery replacements is not worth it. Garbage!”

“The doc worked perfectly for a few weeks. Before today, I would have given it a 5 star review. For no reason, it stopped working today. I checked both the cable connecting my Macbook Pro to the doc and the port on my Macbook pro. Both are working. The doc is receiving power, but the Thunderbolt 3 to computer port seems to have failed.”

“When I first bought this item it would rapidly switch between working and not working. My mouse would blink on and off and screen would switch around. Customer support is an e-mail based system. They dragged my problem out over several e-mails, insulting my intelligence by asking if plugged things into the right spot (certain USB ports can only support certain functions.) Finally I convinced them to call me and we turned a 5 e-mail (5 day) conversation into a 5 minute one. They begrudgingly sent me another stone to replace my current one (once they were convinced that the one I had was in the mail.) The new stone has the same problem but just not as frequent. It has good days and bad days. Most days it only flickers a couple of times a days. Some days I just have to stop using it for a while because it won't stop. Most of the time unplugging the power and plugging back in fixes it. This is poor quality stuff. I cannot endorse this product.”

“Elegant device that accompanies my new Macbook Pro with the M1 chip. The speed and reliability are top-notch and its design profile complements my home office setup. The Stone Pro is so nice, I bought a Stone II for my other computer. Delivery was on time and the packaging was nice too. A definite yes!”
