Absolutely amazing - creates the “touchscreen MacBook” experience perfectly. The placement of the trackpad, as well as the tap/click/gestures et al, it feels authentic and is a perfect addition to the keyboard, completing the feel in a way nothing else could.

Trackpad has way too much of a delay. Something like this has to be at least as responsive as the Apple magic keyboard

I purchased the Brydge Pro+ for the 12.9 inch iPad and overall its designed well and it is definitely built well. Once in awhile, I’ll encounter an issue where the cursor hesitates or freezes, but it’s quickly resolved by turning the keyboard on and off. The only issue that prevents me from giving it 5 stars is the fact that I believe it requires revisions to protect the leading edge of the iPad screen furthest from the hinge (i.e. the palm area). There are two protective rubber nubs near the bottom edge of the keyboard to try to prevent the screen from bumping into the keyboard, but because it’s not nearer to the bottom edge near the wrist areas, I’m afraid to carry this keyboard attached in a case or backpack, because the iPad glass could be scratched from any firm pressure against the back of the iPad. In fact, the current placement of the nubs in the middle, will probably allow the iPad screen to pivot against the numbs and thus increase the risk of scratches. Luckily, i have not encountered scratches as a result, but then again, i have not gone anywhere with my new Brydge keyboard attached due to the CoVid19 situation.

The keyboard itself is perfect and not surprising given this is what they are known for. The trackpad leaves me wishing for more. -scrolling direct can’t be changed and is annoying for me. -scrolling is jumpy and not precise and makes me want to use my fingers again. There is a new firmware update today so that might help. It would be great if we have more control over the precision and speed. I feel that the hinges are are a little too lose once the iPad moves beyond the vertical mark. If I have it to far angled away from the keyboard and then pick it up the “screen” will drop down. Finally, the magnetic cover on the back moves around and falls of on a regular basis and feel this should have been done better. In closing, I am fine with it and will keep it and hope that new firmware updates and Apple doing more for trackpad support make it more user friendly.
