Hate the way you have to put the iPad on the keyboard both love and hate the leather protective cover. Also a bit disappointed either this kind of setup you can’t use the iPad as it was meant to without having to detach it. The rubber pieces already seem to show signs of wear or stretching which can’t be good. Love the ability to place in lap without falling over. But kinda hate that means it must weigh as it does sooooo heavy. Thought I was basically getting your new release the max+. Can’t wait to exchange this one for it. And I’m certain I’ll love that one as I expected to love this one.

This is a really bad keyboard you should spend a little bit more money and get the Apple keyboard I promise you’ll be happy I wish I would’ve read this review before I bought it I definitely wasted $170 as the keyboard is average at best and it’s quite a hassle with the back coming off

Let’s face it, the iPad isn’t a computer. Apple gimped it, despite that my 2019 iPad Pro has a better processor than my laptop - they purposefully limit it’s capability with software. ANYWAYS, despite Apple’s worst intentions, this keyboard makes the iPad as close to a computer as I can get. The typing experience is at least on par, and arguably quite better than my windows laptop. I have far fewer missed key strokes. And oh WOW writing a review like this on my iPad not using the HORRIBLE on-screen typing experience is incredible! The trackpad feels great. Not too deep of a click; and when you enable tap-to-click in your trackpad settings, becomes very close to Apples own track pad. I’ve notice a little glitching when using split screen. But, again, I’m going to blame the iPad’s implementation of Bluetooth here. If typing is seamless, then either tracking or the inane way that iPadOS handles multi-tasking has to be a software issue. Brydge, if you could fix this through drivers, though, it IS a little annoying. I’d re-write with 5 stars. We all know Apple won’t write the code themselves. Price… it’s not the cheapest. But, it feels solid. And it’s cheaper than Apple. And not many reputable companies make anything like this for the 12.9”. That’s what I get for wanting the big screen, really. Honestly, save yourself +100$ and get this over the “magic” keyboard. At least these keys are comfortable to type on! Finally, I should note that my original package got lost in the mail. I emailed Brydge to tell them that I hadn’t received it, and they sent a new one to me right away, no questions asked. Can’t argue with customer service like that.

As I paid for this over a month ago and have not received it, I am perhaps the wrong person to ask. It took several days to get back an email from customer service which informed me to contact Fedex. Fedex in turn informed me to contact Brydge. Thanks, I guess.

I have owned many different style keyboard i have owned several Brydge keyboard this was the worst one. You cannot turn off the touch pad and you often bump it when you typing and you end up all over the page. When you turn open it up it take several seconds to start registering you key strokes. I find I have typed2 or 3 word before it starts working. Also does not close all the way. The hinges are weak and break easily and become stiff overtime. When you go to warranty it they will tell you you are taking out the right way which is also a pain in the ass and if you remove it many time the rubber tear easily. Also there is no side protection for your IPad which would be nice. In short it wish I could return this I was not satisfied with this keyboard. I
