“If you flavour your black tea with lychee syrup, or even if you don’t, you drink your team straight, then adding a few lychee pearls gives you pops of intense lychee flavour. Every mouthful has a varying intensity of sweetness depending on whether you get a pearl, or many pearls, or no pearl.
If you love lychees, you will love these pearls of intense lychee flavour.
Use them in your desserts too….nothing tastes like a jelly dessert in summer, whether fruity or mousse.
A simple dessert
Pour 100ml hot cream over 100g white chocolate
Rest for one minute then stir until all the chocolate melts. Set overnight in fridge
Whip your choc/cream into an airy delicious mousse. Fold a few lychee pearls through and divide into 2 glasses. Refrigerate until set
Decorate with a few more pearls and a twist of lime…serve with a coconut cookie to scoop the mousse up.
The lychee pops cut through the richness of the white chocolate mousse
You could serve an iced lychee syrup tea alongside this for a lovely light summer’s night dessert”
