“The tapioca pearls are the perfect thing to make any good drink into an absolutely amazing drink. When these pearls are prepared just right it’s like you just ordered you drink from a shop.”
“I’m not a massive fan of these pearls tbh as I’d prefer some instant pearls instead of having to get a pot out and boil them. Other than that they were pretty good. I have also had an issue storing them - even though it was in an airtight container they seemed to go crumbly and the balls crumbled apart into powder. I’ve had to throw a packet out. Maybe it was just a bad batch as I didn’t have this issue with my previous order of pearls but the packaging was slightly different.
I would love it if these came in a zip lock bag or similar so you can make an airtight seal”
“The first batch of pearls ordered from bbt club were excellent (back in May 2021). The most recent order (August 2021) had pearls in a different form of packaging and the quality seems to have deteriorated. Along with intact pearls, there were also crumbled/fragments of tapioca throughout the vacuum sealed pack. I wonder if there has been a change in where pearls have been sourced or a change in process which has resulted in this.”
“I was worried, but it's actually super easy to make. Takes about 20 minutes, and they're pearls so they don't really last once made, but that's not a bbt club problem, that's a pearls problem. Super yummy, very much like from the shops. Also pretty good value.”
