“Have been using this powder in my 3yo cockapoo's food on a daily basis, as she has fairly bad plaque on her teeth and doesn't entertain my efforts to clean them. A daily scoop of the powder on her food is what's recommended and the first thing you'll notice is that the powder is a fairly lurid green colour and makes the dog's food even less appealing that it already was. That said, she'll happily eat it up. The big question is whether the product works - my experience to date is that it has generated some small improvements in terms of cleaning her teeth but not the dramatic effect I had hoped for; perhaps my expectations were unrealistic but this is fairly expensive (around £30 per tub) and I'm not sure that I've yet seen enough benefit to make me consider buying another tub once the first one has run out.”
“I gave this to my dog for a few weeks. Her bad breath improved marginally, and when brushing her teeth they looked a little better. However after a while my dog was ill for a few days in a row. I stopped giving her this and she got better straight away. Could have been coincidence but I'm staying off it now.”
“We have been using Clean Canines since we got our GSD puppy and her teeth are gleaming and her breath is so much better (especially as she eats raw). Will continue to buy and recommend to others.”
It's so great to hear that your girl's teeth are gleaming and that her breath is much better. Thank you so much Lynsay for sharing your experience of Clean Canines and for recommending it to others.
“I’ve tried clean canines for a few days now with my dog and one thing that’s been immediately noticeable is her breath! It’s so much fresher after she has clean canines. I will update on her teeth soon.”
“Rusty was used to get really bad breath and he absolutely hates his teeth being cleaned.
I can confirm that he very happily wolf's down clean canines with his food and now his teeth are noticeably cleaner and his breath has massively improved. We will definitely order this regularly”

“Clean canines left my pup’s breath noticeably fresher. She was a little fussy having the powder mixed into her food, but I added a little treat in with it and that did the trick. Impressed with how fast it made a difference to the smell of her breath. Would love it in cube form if it becomes available.”
Thank you so much for your review Celine. Well done for getting your girl to take Clean Canines in her food. We are pleased to hear that you have noticed a difference to the smell of her breath - bonus!
We will pass on your feedback to our production department with regards to a different form as a possibility in the future. Thank you once again.
“We loved the ease of feeding this product to our dog with a scoop provided to add the right amount to his food, we noticed a fresher breath and he didn’t seem to mind the product mixed into his meal. Definitely worth exploring for healthier teeth and fresher breath”
“Long term, products like this which contain seaweed do help to reduce plaque and tartar build-up. This Buddy & Lola Plaque Off powder contains: seaweed, turmeric powder, parsley powder, activated charcoal and peppermint leaf powder. The last three ingredients are breath fresheners. This is a nice product, however it isn’t a substitute for regular brushing with an enzymatic toothpaste. If used prophylactically, it should help to reduce tartar build up.The main ‘con’ for me is that it is expensive. It’s a small jar (180g) and this currently costs £29.97 With large dogs like my Boxers you would have to use 3 scoops per day. Each scoop is 2g so that would work out at almost £1 per day.Might be worth a try if your dog simply won’t let you brush their teeth, or in conjunction with tooth brushing.”
