Dental support for dogs 1 Pouch Reviews

4.4 Rating 61 Reviews
This product is something I’ve used for several months with my dogs and will continue to do so, however, this brand is new to me. The dental powder is now something I use daily with my dogs - adding the powders over their normal meals - to support healthy teeth and mouths. At first, I wasn’t sure if they worked, but after consistent use over the last month and I can confirm they do: plaque is visibly removed from teeth and all the dogs have shining white nashers again! You probably should still use a toothbrush and paste alongside this but if your dogs are anything like like, I know how difficult that can be, so these supplements are definitely a great buy! I will say that this brand is a little pricier than others I’ve used, but the ingredients and overall product is fabulous. My dogs love this and it’s easy to spread over daily food.

I took this for review because I thought it worth the try, opening releases a smell of mint and old dusty seaweed. It was then that I noticed the price! The claims for its daily use are a bit too far as is the £30 price ticket. If I were to use the recommended daily amount for two of our dogs, this would last for eleven days, that is just short of £3 each day which I can't keep up with. After three days, both dogs have had very loose bowel movements, so I won't be continuing with it's use.The thought behind this compound, as far as I can make out, is that it helps prevent tartar build up, it does this by helping to prevent Plaque, - the gummy substance which forms within hours after a meal - this can then harden into tartar also called calculus, which can mineralise into a rough porous substance that attracts more bacteria. In its turn this can progress into periodontal disease. The compound is reputed to slow the process by slowing the formation of plaque. There are many such compounds making similar claims available an awful lot cheaper than this, it should also be used in conjunction with brushing. despite the claim that this compound negates the use of brushing? The gold standard for clean dogs teeth is a toothbrush and recommended canine toothpaste - definitely not the human variety, I will continue to use toothbrushes.JC

I use dental powder in my dog's meals as well as (attempting to) brush his teeth and give him a Dentastix. All the ones I've previously bought are well under £10, so I don't know what makes this so special at £29.97? Seaweed is the main ingredient, but it's definitely more powdery than the previous ones I've used.My dog still eats his food so no issues there, but I can't justify the price.

Buddy & Lola plaque off is a breathe freshener for dogs, I have two dogs to trail this product on.I have waited a while to complete my review, reason why, this is no quick fix after a dayHaving used before a similar product, can take months to remove plague on younger dogs, and unfortunately mostly down to kibble foods, poor health, dogs not liking their teeth cleaned manually, or old dogs.I have a four year old dog who has gorgeous breath and white teethHowever my oldest dog, is nearly 17 and my vets will not put her under anaesthesia because she may not wake up due to her age.I found using every day, and sprinkling it on food the best way, the instructions and dosage are on the pot.Looks like dark seaweed, a little smell like tea bag leaves…My dogs tolerate, is the better word for itThe tiny measuring spoon is included in the tub.Out of every possible dental cleaning products, this is the better one. The original proper plaque off is a lot better. This plague off is pretty good if your dogs like the taste, but will not work from day one, takes a long time. However although it is difficult to remove plaque which grips to the enamel over time. This does help combat bacteria and fresher breath in which I have noticed on my older dog. Her breathe is horrendous, I know I cannot do much, but every little helps..Fresher breath is one valid reason I wanted this product, and I will continue to finish the tub. Having both my dogs on it would work out extremely costly, so if I had young dogs, maybe a cheaper option to visit the vets dentist to be clean, then use plaque off.Pretty decent stuff, I buy dried seaweed and give my dog a bit to sweeten the breathe as fresh as can be.So all in all a decent product, but expensive for more than one dogTry and get your dogs teeth cleaned first, then start using this product if you can.Doesn’t remove tartar on old dogs, damage already done.⭐️Thank you to the seller⭐️I hope my review helps you
