“Poor fit and choice of materials. There is no denying these mitts are warm. I use them in near-freezing water, and my hands are no longer the limiting factor when it comes to staying warm. The fit is odd on them, though. In all other neoprene gloves, I am large, but with these, my middle finger is pressed against the tip of the mitt. The smooth neoprene on the back of the glove is also very fragile. I am careful with them, but even so, the index finger is starting to develop tears. Having the smooth neoprene in the cuff is great for making a waterproof seal, but a lined neoprene should be used for the back of the hands, in my opinion.”

As this glove is primary for cold waters, we chose the smoothy material to ensure optimum warmth in regards to any wind or breeze that may come in contact with your hands during your sessions. This material is best for these type of contact.
