“I’m a Royal Marine of fifty years so I’ve used everything to improve pull ups , I have outside wall mounts and I’ve had beaver fit ect , I now have a home gym set up , and this is the best pull up bar I’ve found for quick set up and quick packing away , design is very clever, improvements I would like to see , as I am 6ft 2 I’d like to see the bar height increased so you have to jump up to the bar , although you can do pull ups fine , the 4 rubber stickers I still have no idea where they are meant to go ..? The locking pins for the fold out leg supports are a weak feature often getting stuck and need force to lock in or depress when folding away , if you are already on the bar and shift your weight left or right the bar doesn’t feel as stable ! I’m 97kg so maybe some extra welds or braces to stop that side wobble! I think for the price the additional hand straps should be included , and would be good to see if you could adapt to have a lat pull down, but despite these small points build quality is heigh so far no breaks or worries , would like to know if you have after care or repairs should anything fail or break! Kit like this should be able to have spare parts to replace and re use rather than buy again. Welding and paid job very good , impressed”
“This pull-up bar is legit. I’m a OTR truck driver and was looking for a folding pull-up bar to fit inside my cab with easy deployment for workouts. It deploys super quick and folds back up just as quick. It’s also very stable. No complaints at all and worth the money. I strap this to the passenger seat in my truck. But it fits just as easy on the top rack if not being used.”
“I purchased the 2.0 version and am so glad I did ( I was pretty hesitant because of a YouTuber video review of the 1.0 release). But I can say that the 2.0 is super sturdy and arrived in less than a week. I can assemble it in about 3 minutes, and dissassemble in about the same (took a whopping 5 minutes my first time). The speed of assembly/disassembly means it is practical for me to set it up inside or outside whenever I want to do pull-ups and hanging leg raises (bought the straps). I also use strength bands to do a few other exercises for biceps triceps and back. The dip handles are a bit wide for me, but totally use the adjustable handles for other exercises. No regrets. Only question I have is how durable the rubbish bar grip will be. But so far with a few weeks of use every other day, all seems good. The one thing I wish it did include was some sort of strap for carrying it. A bit awkward for me to haul because it wants to open for setup! All in all a great purchase for someone like me who works out intensely daily with a focus on body weight exercises.”
“Very good so far. Surprisingly light, portable, and durable. Good enough for the avg person.
Would love to see a much taller version, with holes much higher for the dip attachments.
Doing bodyweight exercises with straight legs instead of folding at the knees is much better in my opinion. And if you need a “step” bc the bar would be tall, you can always create a step to attach to the lowest hole on the bar.
Tall Bullbar 2.5?”
