There is nothing basic about the Borderdale; this firmer feeling mattress, made of high quality materials, gives comforting support at a good price.

This mattress is only available in one tension and has a firm feel.

This is a single-sided mattress, which should be rotated, but not flipped over.

Hi Marie, Many thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. It can take 4 - 6 weeks for a new mattress to properly break in. They do feel a little bit firm when brand new, and as you sleep on it, it will break in across the surface, a bit like breaking in a new pair of leather shoes. It's important to rotate a new mattress every second week for the first twelve weeks after delivery. This ensures you are breaking it in evenly across the surface. Please describe how supportive the mattress feels. Very supportive and firm.

“It's very early days with my new mattress, but so far so good. I was experiencing neck and back pain, which was partly what prompted me to buy a new bed and mattress. Whilst the pain hasn't gone yet, it's only been 2 nights on my new mattress and it definitely feels better. I've always opted for a firm mattress, (not really sure why), but this feels very luxurious to lie on... It also looks beautiful I have to say! I can't comment on 'partner roll', as I presently share my bed with a Whippet x Italian Greyhound!! :D”
