“I’ve had the Camelia Super King Ottoman bed in Plush Velvet Mist (Grade 6) fabric for just over a month now. The sample material colours were quickly posted and allowed me to pre-select some colours and fabrics to take with me to the showroom. I recommend you do visit the showroom if you can because they have all of the sample fabrics in much larger sizes which you can then drape over the bed you’re considering which really helps to imagine the finished product. Actually seeing all the different styles beds in the showroom helps to. I went in with a preconceived opinion that I would not like the buttoned headboards (I thought I wanted the Lupin), and actually I preferred the buttoned Camelia, especially with the plush velvet Mist fabric. I purchased the Swaledale Super King mattress as well (which I have separately reviewed). It’s a great mattress and very comfortable, but it’s so heavy, especially in the Super King size that I am unable to lift up the ottoman bed on my own (which is slightly frustrating). The single loop strap which is attached to the bottom of the metal bed frame and is supposed to be used to life the ottoman bed open is not strong enough and the stitching is already coming away after just a couple of uses. The bed was initially supplied with 1,500 gas lifts which were inadequate to keep the ottoman bed in a raised position. These were changed relatively quickly for 1,600’s which seem better and should have been supplied originally. Despite these structural difficulties the bed itself is very well made and attractively designed.”

“A very stylish and solid bed. Beware, despite the hydraulic assistance for raisign and lowering the bed, it still requires great strength. Very glad we've opted for the motorised open/close option and woudl recomend this to others considering a Super King ottoman togeterh with a good quality mattress.”

“Bed fabric is perfect for my room and feels lovely and soft (Heather tweed) Pleased I went for the ottoman as there is so much storage underneath. I think the only negative is that it feels like the bed dips a bit in the middle. Not sure if it is the tension in the bed slats or the fact we had to go for a zip n link mattress”
