“I really needed a solution for storage as I don't have much storage in my flat. Looking through bed frame, an ottoman made sense and since I was already buying a mattress from Button & Sprung I have decided to test trust them fully and also ordered my bed frame. Best decision. “Beautiful quality. The fabric is lovely and just what we were looking for. Lots of storage space! Only drawbacks are that the ottoman is heavy to lift with the mattress on top. And the bed had a new chemical smell to begin with, but that is to be expected. In all, we're over the moon and would recommend!”

Hi Emily, Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. If the mattress you are using is quite heavy - the ottoman will require a little more force to lift up. If the mattress is lighter - the ottoman will require more force to bring the mattress down. I'm going to reach out to you via email with regards to the pistons - as we may be able to change these to a different set of pistons that may work better with your mattress. I'm also sorry to hear about the chemical smell - we wouldn't expect our beds to smell at all. May I ask if you had a mattress from a different supplier delivered at the same time as our bed?
