the reason i selected your wheel , was it looked large, not sure if there was sizes posted, but when it arrived it was tiny, about the size of a 5 cent coin [aust] after looking at Tandy Leather Australia they have the same wheel for about $7-9. i might be able to use it, just hope i don't loose it.

The embossing wheel seems to be made of solid brass. With the aid of the handle, which is supplied separately, it is possible to leave an attractive and adequate impression provided you have moistened your leather. You need to apply quite a bit of pressure and go over the wheel track several times without removing the wheel from the leather. If you do prematurely remove the wheel from the leather you will have difficulty getting it back on track in the right place and thereby risk getting a blurred indentation in the leather. I found it best to run the wheel along a straight edge to ensure the you do not emboss multi tracks. I would say that this was value for money though I could not achieve as deep an impression as that left by a conventional stamping tool

Only used once so far but very happy with the results price seemed fair to me . I'm fairly new to leather craft so not much to compare with . But would definitely look to get some other designs .
