“Hi Paul, I originally ordered a metal large bird feeder.What arrived was a plastic one(with some metal at each end). In our Australian climate plastic has a limited life. Brian. brianmwal@yahoo.com”

“A good feeder with metal top but the perch/dispenser bits are made of plastic. I do wonder if over time the plastic will become brittle exposed to the elements. Happy with the feeder but all metal bits would have been preferred.”

“I thought the feeding holes , pegs and opening refill hinges would be in metal. plastic feeding cylinder could be of better quality plastic. I have bought this type of bird feeders from the uk before, all metal fittings. Not sure how long these will last in Aussie conditions.”
