“Nice boots but not the same as the picture”

“In most cases you get what you pay for in the boot department so spending as much as you can afford is generally a wise move. However, after much research reading all the specs and reviews I decided to take a punt on the Elite's. Although less than half the price of the top brands (Altberg, Lowa etc.) Highlander seem like a decent UK company and Cadet Kit shop were a really competitive price. Boots arrived in good time (great service from CKS) and size 8 fitted me perfectly so I'd say sizing is bang on. They are extremely comfortable with good in-sole and lining. First time out of the box did 8.5K in semi wet conditions across a variety of terrain. Boots were fantastic! Warm, dry, great ankle support/ grip from soles and with two pairs of thin socks not a rub or blister in sight. Time will tell on the durability front but for the money I think they are a great buy. Highly recommend.”
