“Wrong product for my wants. I wanted a straw to go into the opening of the short takeaway cup for ease of drinking while driving, and I'm talking coffee here, not beers and wines! The smoothie straw is too wide to fit in the gap, the short straws are far too thin and using two is pretty silly. The other issue, I had not thought of, is that heat transfers up the stainless steel and is too hot against lips, dangerously so.
I have since purchased silicone straws elsewhere and happy days!! Also, I feel the price is quite a lot for these stainless straws.
The other issue I have is that I spoke to staff about my use for the straws.. size was discussed but I wasn't warned about the heat transfer, they obviously weren't aware either, so girls.. Only for cold drinks in the description? Happy with my other purchases so it's not all brickbats! I'm ticking "no" to recommend this product as only for cold drinks, and grandchildren may like them, but, steel against their young teeth??? A bang in the wrong direction and broken teeth?? I'm not sure about that either so I'll use the silicon ones for them.”
