“This regulator gets a low rating from me simply because an identical regulator came with the gas heater and it failed before even 3 gas cylinders had been used. I don't know precisely how long I had the heater from new, but it was definitely less than 2 years - so it had received very little use! 'Failure' in my case meant that, even with a full cylinder, the regulator wouldn't release even enough gas to fully light one bar, cutting back even on that meagre amount the longer the one bar would remain lit. Eventually it would start to splutter, then extinguish. I contacted Calor when this began and was quickly dissuaded of any notion that the fault could be rectified under warranty, instead suggesting (correctly) the probable fault - the regulator. The new one is working perfectly, so here's hoping that the first one was a dud.”
