“One of the newer In Phase amps, using Class D technology like the IPA 2001D the key thing I notice is this amplifier is a bit smaller. Made the way all In Phase amps are which have a very nice ageless finish, great appearance and feel. Love Remote Bass control, nice and compact, the cable is long too. Line in and Out. This is a great feature as it allows you to feed the signal into the amp and take it back out. A real must if you want to build a large system. Subsonic Filter. The In Phase one has a great range 10Hz-50Hz this gives great control to eliminate really low bass frequencies if your system cannot cope. I usually set amps around 20Hz if the option is given. Low pass crossover 50Hz-250Hz which is a great range. I did not expect it to go that high, you could actually use this amp to run midbass if you set the Subsonic to 50Hz and the crossover to 250Hz in a big system, very clever! You even has a 0-180 Phase control, most of you will never use this however is some installations it is real must as sometimes you can find you will improve the sound by changing the Phase. Hence the brand name "In Phase" Variable gain control. lots of control and options on the input side. The output side uses the same connectors as the other In Phase Amps. They allow for bare cable ends to go straight in, much better way if you ask me. You could maybe squeeze 10mm cable into the speaker connection! It's big! Power cable maybe 20mm or more! The amp has 3 fuses for protection. Well layed out and easy to work with.”

“I've had this amp in my truck for about 1 week. It's powering 1 x 12" Rockford Fosgate wired at a 2 ohm load. I'm not going to lie, I think i'm going deaf! the amount of bass I now have compared to my Rockford amp if unbelieveable and this one is cheaper too!”
