I have used this amp for a few months in my Audi. I am really impressed. I just upgraded to the amp first and over the weekend I upgraded my speakers. Don't have a sub yet however the sound from the 4 speakers and this amp is really impressive. I can feel the bass frequencies, mids and highs are so smooth and crisp. Slow upgrade, highly recommend.

Got this amp to power 4x Alpine 100w RMS 17cm coaxial speakers, the power output on this amp is incredibly impressive. The build quality is fantastic and it doesn't take up huge amounts of space. Instructions were super easy to follow and the amp is quite versatile, allowing for many different configurations. Setup was also very simple, managed to get my system up and running in no time

Amp is built in the uk is made from metal looks and feels top quality whereas pioneer is made of plastic in China ive had 4 subs from the all broke in 3 months and had the tsz65cs of which I've had 2 sets both broke I chris at caraudiocentre was very helpful contacted pioneer got them credited and said I could have a different set of speaker so I went alpine knowing how terribly assembled pioneer equipment is I will never buy their stuff again so when I was looking for an amp I asked caraudiocentre for their recommendations and I bought and inphase amp and sub from them im installing it next week but given the quality of the amp I've recieved i have no doubt that it will be pure amazing

YES it is! This amp not only sounds good it looks amazing too, I wish I could post a phot of my install here too. The settings on the amp give excellent control allowing for a real precise setting for your needs. All I would say is if you are looking for a clean, musical and powerful amp...look at this amp, you will not regreat it.

I had an older Pioneer Amp and wanted the newer GMD 9704D which was always my dream amp. Have to say I was not impressed by the sound of the new Pioneer it sounded more like a disco amp and not a car audio sound. My old amp was much more musical. I call Car Audio Centre and they Suggested this In Phase Amp. I wasn't sure but thought I have nothing to lose. So I went for it. I am so glad I did. THIS AMP is very good indeed. Never mind the power output the sound quality is very muscial. I have to say I would be happy paying more but I hope the prices stay low. It is great value and an a very musical amp.

Just taking a look at this New InPhase IPA 9704D. The amplifier is very solid and has a lovely feel to it. I love the In Phase Badge in the middle on top of the amp. This also is illuminated when on (blue) or red for protection. The plastic has a very rubber touch so has a lovely high quality feel to it. Let's talk inputs. 2 or 4 channel input, you can use 2 channel input and flick the switch to 2 channel input mode, this will then give you 4 channel output. Both pairs of channels have full crossovers on, this is quite rare! So you can actually run all channels in Low pass mode 50Hz-250Hz (subwoofer) or High pass 50Hz-1.2KHz (speakers) or full range without any crossover. This offers full flexibility for system set up. All channels also have Bass Boost. Crossover is activated by the flick of the crossover switch. On the other end, very solid robust screw in connectors, so the bare wire just goes in. This allows for a more positive connection. At a push power cable size is 20mm or 4G. Speaker cable is 8mm or 10G. Overall this is a beautifully built amplifier with excellent features.

I bought this to replace my GM-D9604. Which died after 2 years. This seems to sound better. Only time will tell on it's robustness.
