“I got the package about 2.5 weeks after ordering. It was packaged so horribly (all pieces loose with a few pieces of foam thrown in, but not secured around any of the wood, in a cardboard box that got wet and tore in multiple spots during transit) that almost every piece has significant dents and/or scratches and several were broken. Customer service was excellent and mailed a few replacements for the broken pieces, then mailed another piece that I hadn't noticed was missing from the original box. Assembly instructions weren't included but customer service emailed them immediately when I used the chat function on the website. It took me a couple hours to assemble alone and would've gone much faster with another person. The bed unfortunately doesn't look great because of all the damage from shipping but I put a bedskirt on it and have pillows hiding the headboard. It is very solid, no noise, and way better quality than an Amazon bed frame, so overall worth it for the price. I wouldn't repurchase the Hudson but would consider the Upton if I knew it would be packaged securely.”
