“The installation was easy and the online video was easy to understand and pairing the new controller to the cart was almost automatic. The only thing I would like is an easy way to turn the controller off (like a small switch) so that if I have the controller in my pocket or on the clip I cannot accidentally start the cart. I am so afraid of losing the belt clip that I rarely use it. The clip on the handle of the cart works great.”
Hi Randy,
To turn off the remote, simply press and hold the parking brake button. Then when you're ready to use the remote again, simply press and release the two blue buttons to turn it on again.
“The item was shipped promptly and came early. The installation video was perfect and I had no problems putting the unit on my 1500li. The new remote is far better than the original unit (mine had breathed its last...). The new remote has the same control arrangement and the buttons are much more crisp and positive. The cover is a great addition as is the belt clip and new plug for the cart handle to hold the remote while you putt or for storage. I have loved my 1500li and this new remote is great.
