“While the purchase process and delivery were all good and timely, it turned out the sink we ordered was the wrong shape (corners too round) for our benchtop cutout. It was purchased to replace a tired old sink.
We were unable to return it due to having disposed of the packaging before realising our error. That's was on us, not Cass Brothers. Cass however were unable to supply the same sink with the less rounded corners in a suitable time so we puchased from elsewhere.
The replacement was the exact same brand, size and type of sink, just a model with a different corner shape (less rounded) which was better suited to our existing benchtop cutout.
The quality of the sink however is not that great. They are very lightweight and flimsy, and the sink flexes a lot when using the mixer tap, so much so it makes the mixer tap hard to control. If I had known just how flimsy the steel was I would never have purchased it in the first place. It was about half the weight of the sink it replaced, it's little wonder it is so flimsy.
We are in a rural area a long way from major cities/outlets so we are not always in a position to see goods in person before ordering.
Turned out to be a very expensive mistake.”
