“I hope this litter sticks around. I used to buy it on Amazon but they stopped selling it. This is the best litter in my opinion. It clumps well, doesn’t smell bad, works well with my Litter Robot, and I feel great about the “ingredients.” I don’t like corn and grain litters because they mold very quickly in the trash compartment of the Litter Robot, plus they can be allergenic. Walnut based litters contains tremorgenic mycotoxins which can cause seizures or other neurological issues. Silica litter contains carcinogens. Baking soda litter can affect a cat’s chemical/electrolyte balance when they groom after using the litter box. Clay litter is horrible for the environment. Grass litter is a common allergen but it’s probably my 2nd choice behind coconut litter. A lot of Tofu litters have funky, weird smells that I don’t trust. Pine/cedar litters release phenols when they get wet which is toxic to cats. There’s also a myriad of other issues with pine and cedar. Other litters like newspaper or bamboo litter don’t tend to fit inside the litter robot so those are a no-go. I think I’ve mentioned every other type of litter on the market. Coconut litter is the ONLY ONE that is completely natural, not harmful at all, no funky smell, and still clumps! It does track quite a bit but I’d rather have a clean and healthy litter that tracks over a toxic unhealthy litter that doesn’t track. Please keep making this litter!!!”
“Great litter. Lightweight, so it does track more than clay, but that's acceptable to me. I wish the odor control was a little better, but daily sifting (never being late!) keeps the odor to a minimum.”
“This is the ONLY litter I will ever use! It is natural material, does not powder and create dust, is easy to scoop and/or mix into the remaining litter. It very much helps to control odor and there are not toxic chemicals on my cat's paws. Love this product!”
“I really like the all natural perspective of it. Much better than your typical cat litter.
The only issue I currently am having. It's not really heavy enough to just fall through the scoop, so you have to shake it. And when you do that, the clumps come apart and go back in the box.
I am on a mission to find a different scoop with larger holes. Maybe that will solve this issue.”
“Feels good that it is not getting consumed by Gandhi, and therefore swelling in her tummy. I would say the only downside is there’s just as much if not more residue that gets tracked throughout the house at least from the clumping kind that I got. Otherwise though it’s so much better when I scooped the litter because there’s no dust I really love it.”
