“Been using Catspot non clumping for years & love it! It’s soft, all natural, absorbent & not smelly. Easy to change weekly, can even be tossed in the garden if you like.”
“I love this product for my cat first and foremost. I love that it's all natural and that it can be used as a fertilizer outside. I also sprinkle some around my house after I stir it so that if my cat gets out, she knows where we live. I love how Light it is to carry to refill the boxes. I love how it comes up even though it's non-clumping until I stir it. Unless my cat kicks it out, there isn't too much that falls out of the box although I do use a mat underneath for whatever does fall out there is minimal dust is a plus, but mostly the fact that it's all natural And it works well on my favorite features. I recommend it to everybody with the cat.”
“Ive been using Cat spot for several years now. I absolutely love it. As do my two kitties. I have 2 litter boxes with domes. I change my litter about every 3 weeks.
I love that its so light . Its so much better for everyone as opposed to regular litter. I have even used it to repot plants.
I tell all my kitty owner friends they must try it. And often give a bag to friends that get new kitties.”
“Our 5 cat household had a literbox crisis 2 weeks ago. I bought clumping litter for the emergency.
Cats were unhappy.. I, age 71, as scooper, was unhappy.
Catspot it very light, and easily disposable.
Using a clumping litter for even a week made me appreciate Catspot.”
“I so very much wanted this litter to work out for us, but unfortunately it didn't. We are a 2 cat household with a covered cat box. Day 1 with this litter was great. The light weight, compostable, and convenience of needing to only scoop feces were a positive. Stiring the litter to mix in urine waste was easier than scooping clumps. The smell abated when stired. Bonus: this litter tracked a lot less than the walnut or grass litters we'd tried. Day 2 was acceptable. The ammonia smell was strong until we stired the litter. The smell faded, but as cats used the box got stronger by evening. Day 3 stiring amplifed the smell at first, then it settled to an ambient taint in the room and again got much stronger through the day. Day 4 the smell was eye watering when we opened the box to scoop & stir (much worse than other compostable at equivalent time/use). The amonia-cat pee-fiber decomposition smell was constant and carried to adjacent rooms. We didn't even make it a week...much less 14 days. If this litter was inexpensive we'd consider throw out every 3rd day, but its expensive which makes that not an option.”
