“Wow!!! This item was supposed to go into my F150. When I got it I hooked it up to my bench power a couple days later I was pleasantly suprised. Local contacts said sounds great on AM. One of them @ 10 miles away. Next evening and thru the weekend I realized I got a DX machine. Members from World Radio and Needlbenders were giving kudos left and right on the sound and signal. And the only thing between the radio and my PT99 antenna is the 100 ft of rg8x. My 2547 is still on the bottom shelf.Good job and great product!!”
“simple and easy to use. only thing i don't like is the lack of a separate knob for mic gain you have to push a button key the mic and adjust the channel knob makes it very hard to adjust wile driving.”
