“Being from the eastern shore region, crab cakes are one of those things that my family is really picky about. So for my family to love these is a huge thing. The preparation instructions were simple and easy to follow. We had the crab cakes as the main entree for our New Year's Eve dinner and my husband (the pickiest of all our crab eaters) complimented them through each bite. They have a great balance of crab meat to "stuffing" which is often not the case. Definitely worth a try if you like crab cakes.”
“These are amazingly good crab cakes. We have them on special occasions and they are such a treat. There is no filler and the crab meat is fresh and so sweet. I have ordered different varieties in the past and nothing compares. I also like that they are so easy to prepare - just dab a little mayonnaise on top and bake.”
“The crab cakes were a little dry and not quite as flavorful as I had hoped. I baked them in the oven. Next I'll try pan frying to see if that makes a difference. The crab pie was very good. Lots of flavor.”
“No turkey and dressing. Instead, beef tenderloin with horseradish sauce, broccoli/cheese casserole, crab cakes with remoulade sauce, stuffed baked potatoes. A delicious meal with a different menu from Thanksgiving! My men LOVED the change to "meat and potatoes", and the crab cakes provided a nice tasty departure from the "ordinary". Dessert: ambrosia (oranges, pineapple) and dark chocolate cake.”
