“This was a family reunion stand out favorite. It’s the first time I shared it. It’s rich so about two small gravy ladles is plenty for a serving. Every single person I’ve served this to has said it’s terrific. That includes professional gourmet chefs and very picky eaters. Even my vegan husband loved it! So I’d recommend if you buy the one quantity of two pints, that might serve 8 people for sure. I plan to always have this in my freezer to pull out for special occasions. It doesn’t get freezer burned. And I love having something special I can just pull out. The instructions say thaw 12 to 24 hours so you do need to plan. It also says to heat to 165 degrees. At 150 I was comfortable with the temperature. I didn’t want to chance curdling and if too hot you don’t get the rich flavors of the crab. I hope this is helpful.”
