“how'd you guess that i really enjoyed it...that 5 stars describes my reaction. well, crab cakes are not exactly a familiar Chinese delicacy, so the experience was largely one of anticipation: i love crab, and here in California they are available fresh off the boat. Chinese usually boil them and serve them with a collection of vegetables....or by itself with a small bit of fermented soy bean cake...a far cry from these hand-made tidbits, which have all the complexity of a meal. as for improvement and product selection, that is well within the parameters of taste, and if there is a variant, give it a try, touch up the product with a title befitting the change in flavors or texture: crab cakes certainly vary throughout the East Coast, and i for one would be intrigued and prone to experiment. these are great and i've dabbled with complimentary condiments, and it's been a very tasty trip.”
“I purchased the Baker's Dozen as a gift for my parents. They were impressed with the quality and the amount of seafood in each cake - not a lot of filler. I would purchase these again.”
“I would like to be able to buy the lobster cakes as a separate item. They are excellent, as are the crab cakes.
The shrimp cakes, however, have a different treatment
and are unappealing.”
