“We had the Chateaubriand en Croute dinner for Christmas Dinner. It is Chateaubriand en Croute, Hasselback potatoes, Green Beans Almondine and Sticky Toffee pudding. Everything tasted wonderful and it would have received a 5 star review but for two things. Everything cooks in the oven, but given the differing temperatures and cooking times and temperatures it is a little difficult if you do not have two ovens. I ended up letting the Chateaubriand "rest" while I cooked everything else. It worked. The other thing, and this was really kind of disappointing was that the Chateaubriand collapsed during cooking, even though I followed the directions to the letter. I have cooked this dish from scratch myself and it should not have done that. The presentation was not pretty and I had hoped it would look better for our Christmas guest.”
