Gravy was bland --had to spice it up and added turkey essence to gravy to have it taste more like homemade turkey gravy.”
“We have a deep-fried turkey every year so I usually make gravy starting with turkey wings for broth and go from there. I couldn’t find wings this year so I ordered gravy at a price I assumed reflected something special. It was bland and I asked a chef dining with us to doctor it for taste. The taste improved but even he couldn’t make it special.”
