“Gravy was more of an "au jus" gravy than turkey gravy.
This too, did not have a turkey gravy taste.
Gravy was bland --had to spice it up and added turkey essence to gravy to have it taste more like homemade turkey gravy.”
“We have a deep-fried turkey every year so I usually make gravy starting with turkey wings for broth and go from there. I couldn’t find wings this year so I ordered gravy at a price I assumed reflected something special. It was bland and I asked a chef dining with us to doctor it for taste. The taste improved but even he couldn’t make it special.”
“I ordered two Homestyle Turkey gravy boxes (2 pouches per box) and both were a gelatinous mess. I thawed them per package directions and in the packets were a division of brown watery liquid and a fibrous solid that never dissolved!! It wasn't gravy. Not sure what it was. Very disappointed.”
