“We love our ChessUp board. My boys are 4 and 6 and they play every day. They play each other and they play the computer. We’ve had it for almost a month and they aren’t slowing down. We just signed the oldest up for chess club at school. I’ve played a few games too. It is one of the best purchases we’ve made!”
“My family and I LOVE this game! It’s been fun for my husband and I to play chess together or against the AI and my kids have enjoyed learning how pieces move and understanding how to play chess. We have the board out always in case anyone ever wants to play a game and it is constantly in use. It’s the best game purchase we have made in years.”
“So I have had the ChessUP for over a month and have to say that it is everything I was expecting.
I can play games with the onboard AI or use my phone if I want a harder challenge.
I initiated my wife to chess and she is learning with the assisted AI.
Playing online with LILCHESS and CHESS.COM is working perfectly for me.
ChessUP just released an updated firmware which allows us to review our games.
It has everything needed.
The board itself is made out of plastic but it is ultra durable and has a bit of heft to it.
I am using it daily. Only thing left is to get the carry bag for storage.
Good job ChessUP”
“Exceptional, it's one of the best chess boards I have purchased within 30 years of playing. My wife's sons, who are 13 and 6 years old, love it. It's helping them as well to be a better chess player. I can't wait to teach my younger daughter how to play with ease.”
“I really enjoy playing the ChessUp board with the different assistance levels and against the A.I. I wish the chess.com integration with playing their bots, etc. was better/available. What I'm missing from the ChessUp Android app is some sort of coaching/teaching series where the board can walk you through lessons, etc. to practice openings, end games, etc. My only comment to the product designers: give the chess pieces more heft. They are a bit "too light" for my liking; giving them some more weight would go a long way. All in all, a great A.I. chess board, fun to use, and nice to play!”
