“This was a great buy. My six year old asks to play this all the time, she has phones, toys, tables and gaming console but she would ask to play chess first thing! I enjoy playing on my own against the AI as well!”
“I'm pleasantly surprised the ChessUp board is working as advertised. If I were to improve upon the next version, I'd suggest adding a little more "weight" to each chess piece.”
“The chess board is well-designed and sturdy, as are the pieces. It is a great chess computer and does everything I would expect out of a chess computer and more. The ChessUp app, however, still has a lot of room for improvement. There are features that supposedly should work but just don't. For example, the feature that allows you to take back pieces. I haven't gotten this to work yet. I'm still giving 5 stars since the chess board itself is what's most important to me personally.
Overall, ignoring the app, this chess computer is definitely worth it and great for beginners and advanced players alike.”
