“The chessup board is a good product for a chess player like me I usually can't find people to play with so with the AI in the board I can play by myself. It does have its flaws sometimes it glitches and doesn't confirm a move and when you reset the pieces to start a new game it does automatically start it. But it's a good product for chess lovers and I highly recommend it.”

“Chessup ist für mich als Gelegenheitsspieler ein sehr interessanter Schachcomputer. Man kann sehr gut damit sein Spiel verbessern und dadurch zu einem besseren Schachspieler
werden. Schade das die KI im Computer nur bis Elo 1200 geht. Vielleicht könnte man durch ein Update die Stärke der KI bis auf 2000 Elo noch erhöhen dann bräuchte man nicht immer die App dafür. .Viele andere Schachcomputer haben auch eine Elo von über 2000.
Wie schon gesagt bin ich mit dem Gerät äußerst zufrieden.
Vielleicht kommt ja irgendwann ein Chessup 3 oder 4 noch auf den Markt. Mal abwarten.

“This smart chessboard is amazing, and I can’t even imagine how good I would have been if I had this as a kid. The integration with Lichess and Chess.com still are a little buggy but they work well enough to play. And often if you’re taking back moves the app will mess up the pieces and suddenly a black pawn becomes a white knight or something. Also the pieces themselves feel kinda cheap, I’m guessing they’re 3d printed so the manufacturer doesn’t have to spend money getting them from someone else. But for $300, I would expect at least the plastic equivalent of a $20-30 set. But in any case, this thing is amazing and it’s really helping me get my OTB comfort back up so I can do some tournaments after decades of mostly casual online blitz.”

“Best Father’s Day gift ever!!!! My husband has been playing chess on chess.com for a long time. He mentioned this board in passing months ago. I gifted it to him for Father’s Day. Not only was it not expected but he was elated. A few days before I gave it to him he was saying he was going to take a break from playing bc between being on his PC for work all day and then playing chess it was too much “screen time” it was so hard for me to not say something to him out of excitement haha he LOVES his board. I gave it over a week of him using it before I reviewed it just to be sure but he uses it every time he plays now. He told me it is so nice to be able to play on an actual board. It’s pretty impressive with all its great features and it doesn’t seem to have any issues at all!! Total score!!! I highly recommend this!!!”
