I saw this online. I enjoyed the learning capabilities, hence, purchasing for myself as well as my three year old son whom loves to watch and will play at times. He likes the colors.
Unfortunately there’s confusion if you try to go back, redo, or show the “why” for a lil one. I knocked the king off e1 it wouldn’t let me castle from there on out. And it mistook a knight for a pawn (?).
I like the board but teaching another as the commercials show isn’t as easy, technology-speaking, as it seems”

“This board is an excellent product for the price and helps younger or inexperienced players learn quickly. I wish I had access to this board 20 years ago. The biggest drawback, and I say this only to give feedback to the Bryght Labs team, is that you have to cycle through all the modes with a single button. In a perfect world I could select the assistance level outright with 1 or 2 button clicks.”
“I can’t say enough about how much more enjoyable it is to play an AI opponent on a physical board compared to an iPad. I didn’t expect this but if you usually play online or on a computer you just have to try this. I originally got it so that my wife could play with a little assistance against me and it makes our games so much more fun. We both learn from the rated/suggested moves. Totally worth it.”
“I will absolutely recommend this board to anyone interested in learning how to play chess. The board reacts extremely quickly to the opponent's moves that you play against online and even saves all your games after you finish it. My only wish is that when reviewing my game history it would break down my moves and better analyze better moves to help me learn more. If it already has this feature I didn't see it. But if it isn't there it would definitely be something I'd love to see in the future! Other than that the board is perfect! Very satisfied with my purchase!”
