We loved the trip and it was everything we expected it to be. The zodiac cruising around the icebergs and zodiac landings were just so very well organised and each one was different from the other.

Every part of the trip on the MS Expedition with G Adventures was run in a most professional manner. The ship was excellent including the size of the cabin; the food was superb and the expedition team were all knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The on shore visits were well organised and I couldn't have asked for more.

It was the trip of a lifetime! It started with excellent support and organisation from Chimu Adventures. Then then our South American experience on the Antarctic Peninsula was even better than we hoped it would be, and our expectations were high. The crew on the MV Ushuaia went out of their way to ensure everything went smoothly. The expedition team had every landing planned and also had a Plan B,C and D if the conditions meant a change was required. Once across the Drake passage every morning and afternoon we landed and explored a different part of the Peninsula. As it was a smallish group (88 in total) we could all land and stay for the full time allowed. Every day was different and took our breath away - both the scenery and the wildlife . The expedition team were always available to tell us about history and wildlife and the on board presentations were great. It was an adventure not a cruise and we really experienced what a wilderness Antarctica is! We spent 4-6 hours every day on landings or zodiac trips among the ice, returning to the boat only to enjoy meals ( three courses!) and each others company. Then at night we would watch the amazing scenery pass by from the icebreaker. If we ever can we would go again and definitely choose the smaller expedition style.
