“We were a bit reluctant to visit Rio de Janeiro, and South America in general, due to safety issues that we had previously heard and read about, however we were pleasantly surprised. Copacobana beach was fantastic with a buzz of activity both day and night. Due to the flood lighting it felt safe. Our tour to Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf mountain was fantastic and we also did a sunset cruise on the bay.”
