Describe the aspects of your itinerary that you thought worked really well. the walking tour and the dining experience . The pick ups were on time and ell with it. Best of all having the whatsapp facility with the local team were a fantastic service.
Describe the aspects of your itinerary that you thought needs improving the tour to the city , la boca etc. seemed very rushed and with no plan I don't like seeing the city from a car. I would prefer to get out and experience the city eg more time in the cemetery, in the cathedral, It would all have been good if the guide walked with us in La boca and explained the history.

Describe the aspects of your itinerary that you thought worked really well. We travelled as a group of six friends, and every aspect of the organisation of our trip worked seamlessly, was on time, and negated any worries about having to arrange things for ourselves in an unfamiliar environment.
Describe the aspects of your itinerary that you thought needs improving The trip proceeded smoothly - we saw all we expected to, we had excellent guides. We were very impressed with the seamless organisation.

Contrasting places we visited, from Rio to Iguazu, Buenos Aires, Patagonia, all different. People we met were friendly and helpful, keen to welcome visitors. Natural beauty was spectacular.

Describe the aspects of your itinerary that you thought worked really well. Our entire tour ran very smoothly. We had some incredibly good guides especially on our Lares Trail Mountain Lodge trek from Cuzco to Machu Picchu (JuanDeDios), and on our Atacama Desert tour (Cristina Sandoval) as well as Hugo in Santiago who loaned me a knee strap for a knee I had injured on our Lake Titicaca island tour.. The local agent in Peru was also excellent and kept in touch throughout our visit to ensure we were having a great time. The different aspects of our tour provided some terrific variety from tropical jungle to mountains to desert and the capital cities.
Describe the aspects of your itinerary that you thought needs improving While local Chimu agent in Peru (Guisela) was outstanding in keeping in touch and checking in with us to ensure everything was running smoothly and we wwere enjoying our various tours, the local Chimu agen in Chile (Paula) made no contact at all in the time we were there. The only other element that was disappointing was in relation to a small accident I had on our Lake Titicaca tour of the islands. I had a fall as were were having to clamber over 2 boats to reach our boat and hurt one of my knees. Just in case I needed to seek some medical assistance in relation to this I requested the agent to obtain a report of the incident from our local guide and felt that the incident was greatly downplayed which would have made it somewhat difficult to make an insurance claim should I needed to obtain medical assistance. Fortunately I managed to recover by using a knee strap and my trekking sticks to get around for the remaining 10-11 days of our trip.

My daughter and I did a 4 week tour in Peru and Chile with Chimu Adventures as must say that all aspects of our trip were amazing. We visited Lima, the Amazon Jungle, Cuzco and the Sacred Valley area, and Lake Titicaca in Peru as well as Santiago/Valparaiso/Casablanca Valley and Atacama in Chile. For us the real highlights were the Lares Trail Mountain Lodge tour from Cuzco to Machu Picchu in Peru and the time we spent in the Atacama Desert in Chile. All our expectations of visiting this part of the world were well and truly met. Our accommodation was of a very good standard and the transport provided very comfortable.
