“I am normally a big fan of Ciate's products, especially their chrome lip colour (luna is my all time favourite lip shade) and nail polishes. Unfortunately, I had a bad reaction to the glitter flip lip colour that I purchased this time. It's a pity that I wasn't more cautious as I purchased three different shades in the same line which I no longer feel confident to use. I wouldn't want to pass them on to a friend either, given my experience. My advice is to be wary if you have anything approaching sensitive skin. This is a very matt, drying lip colour, albeit one that contains a lot of glitter. It is not a glossy lip colour as the pictures suggest.”
“This lipstick is nice to apply. It dries reasonably quickly. It lasts better than some liquid lips I’ve tried. It’s also very comfortable to wear and the glitter transforms really does work and it works well. The reason I have given it 3* is the shade. In the picture it looks like a coral that is wearable for work and day to day. However when I applied it. It was actually more of a bright orange. It wasn’t too dissimilar to a shade in another brand I’ve got that is deemed ‘red orange’. It looks nothing like the picture and I wouldn’t call it coral. It’s very bright and bold and not wearable for work and everyday.”
