“The Chandler Caliber watch has the looks, quality and performance I've come to expect from Citizen. However, the band is horrible. The area where the band mounts to watch does not bend or move. This is very uncomfortable, and causes pain in my wrist. You cannot even lay the watch down flat like my other non-metal band watches. So I either return it, or try to find an aftermarket band.”

“A Christmas 2020 gift for my wife which she is really happy with ! Dial is very easy to view date and time. The rich brown dial and broad silver bezel makes this watch a "standout".”

“I wear the watch daily. Have had it for 3 years and the leather band has deteriorated to the point where it needs replaced. I ordered a new band from Citizens since it is not covered by any warranty.”

When worn daily, the leather band may break down over time, especially if exposed to lotions, perspiration, or other chemicals. Your new band should arrive shortly, and you can continue to enjoy your timepiece.

“This is fine watch, marred by one manufacturing defect, and one design defect. a) 5 1/2 years after I received this watch new as a gift, and as another reviewer noted, a glued joint of the watch band failed. It is a fold under the buckle, which secures the buckle. The contact cement which held this joint is visible so I can conclude that the cement was too wet, or too dry, when the joint was completed. b) the date numeral is too recessed in the date window, making the date challenging to see unless your lighting is shining squarely into the date window. Aside from these factors it is a lovely, precise, high quality time piece. I've gotten used to the date window, but wish the added annoyance of failure of the strap did not occur. Clearly this is a defect that should not be present on an otherwise fine watch.”

“A truly beautiful watch! I gave the Citizen to my son for his recent birthday and he loved it! He wears a lot of browns (shoes & belts) in both sharp casual and dress wear. This Chandler watch blends perfectly with that. Could not be happier!”
