I've loved the watch but the band broke within the first year. Cost to replace it - $65.00! Not pleased.

I bought this watch for my boyfriend less than a year ago and he wore it normally. The band snapped in half randomly while he was wearing it one day and is now unwearable. When I reached out to customer service to get it repaired I was told the 5 year warranty would not cover it and there was nothing they could do. For such an expensive watch you would think that the company would cover a replacement of the band rather than fight over language in the warranty.

I bought my watch on Amazon, but I adore it nonetheless. I've had it for well over a year now. The lightweight design and sleek style are really just the beginning. It feels like I'm not wearing anything. This watch is suitable for just about anything life throws at you. Whether it's a trip to the gym, an average day at work, or a night out with friends, this watch will definitely hold true to the standards of excellence it was crafted with. I wear mine every single day and my wrist feels incomplete without it. It's incredibly accurate and I can tell the time easily even in a fully darkened room. My grandfather first introduced me to the exquisite style of Citizen when I was young and I knew then that I would forever be a Citizen customer. Truly, this watch is an absolute masterpiece!

The band lasted about 2 years. The watch face is durable, I expected more longevity for $150+ watch.

The watch has worked well though there are two distinct negatives. One - the extremely weak glow on the watch face making it nearly impossible to read in the dark despite long hours under light beforehand. Two - the watch band is made of a poor quality polyurethane rubber that has quickly deteriorated and cracked/broke off within less than one year. I have not found a replacement and the advertised one is about $75.00. That is an expensive annual expense.
