“I bought mine from a pawn shop. It had been left in the dark for at least a year. They had no idea how to set up the watch, how to set the watch or why the hands just kept spinning around whenever they moved the crown in or out. They thought it was defective so I bought it for $40. It had been badly abused by it's previous owner, with moderate scratches in the crystal and the band was very worn. I took my newfound baby home, cleaned it up, buffed out the crystal as best I could, ordered a new band off Ebay ($50), and set it in the sun for a week. I downloaded the manual, read up on the proper setup procedures, and adjusted the watch properly and I have been using it ever since. It has been the best watch I have ever owned. It works flawlessly. It feels substantial. It is comfortable and it does everything I want a watch to do. Bear in mind it does not answer my phone, play games or remember my appointments and I don't want it to. It does, however, keep perfect time, have a 1/20th of a second chronometer, alarm, perpetual calendar, looks great, and it never needs a battery and is water-resistant to 200 meters. That is everything I want my watch to do. Once you try a Citizen Eco-Drive you will wonder why you fooled around with anything else.”

“Bought this watch in 2012 for it's looks and it's features. It worked fine for six years. Then one day it just stopped. Took it to my local jewelers and she managed to get it working. Six months later it stopped again. Now this brick makes for a nice paper weight on top of my armoire. Compared to other high end watches I own it's a dog.”
