This is the second one I have owned. The first was a gift from my wife in 2006. It was damaged during an accident to my left arm this past January 2020. It actually saved my wrist from being severed from my arm. It was thrown 100 feet from the accident as it was struck, but prevented serious permanent damage to my wrist and hand. I am saving the old watch as a reminder to be more careful. The old watch always worked flawlessly!! I am sure the new one will as well!

I got it as a graduation present from my uncle, and I was thinking "oh, cool, I previously got a watch from him, no big deal". Man, was I wrong. This watch has been with me for 14 years. It loses about 3 seconds of precision over half a year (would've tried to measure it over a longer period, were it not for daylight savings), shows day of the week and day of month, water resistant to 100 meters (a function which I don't care about to much since I can't swim, nonetheless it's nice not having to worry about it ever), and most importantly, it never needs a battery change. When I discovered all this in 2006, after reading through the manual, I was like "Is this still 2006? Did I time travel or something?". It had a 5-year warranty, of which I was sceptical back then, then again, I never even heard of solar powered watches and I do live in quite the backward country. But 14 years and still working splendidly. It's been with me on hikes, camping, from rock climbing to trying to learn to swim, and I basically never take it off, except for showers, and sometimes not even for that, to get it washed (I don't like the band being soggy, but not so much of annoyance to me). It's more precious to me than any of my girlfriends were. And it's hilarious to see people's faces when I look at my analogue watch to see the date, then tell them it's solar powered. Btw, I'm only writing this review as a tribute, since I'm thinking of changing over to a smartwatch, and wanted to share how great it is even without being able to measure your pulse or notify you of a message. If it did that, I'd probably get burried with it (and it's still a possibility).
