I bought this watch almost 3 years ago, it's been the best watch I've owned in 50th years. I agree with other owners regard the strap issue. I recently had to replace the strap and found out the best place to get it is Citizen. It cost $60.00. Kind of high, but I wouldn't have paid it if the watch wasn't worth it.

I've had this same watch but the chronograph version that also reads the dive depth and I just love but, there are two points that need to be taken when buying this watch for diving. - Basically you go with the supplied rubber strap (witch you have to constantly adjust) or you go with a Nato strap. The case shape doesn't allow for aftermarket straps, to my knowledge. - A major flaw in my opinion, and since this is supposed to be a dive watch, is the lack of an illuminated pip at the 12 o'clock position. You can rotate the bezel but you can't read the elapsed time. Other then that, it's one of the most beautiful watches I have.

I purchase this watch, 2 year ago and the band is the worst, the strap holders never stay in place. and now the band it self is torn in two places. The watch itself is fantastic. I swim in open water, rivers and pools and have never had a problem. please fix the band problem. I would like to purchase one for my grandson.

I bought my Promaster Diver in 2014 from a Citizen dealer and it immediately became my everyday watch; the most comfortable in my watch collection. I do custom woodworking and my Promaster is exposed to a lot of sawdust, heat and wear and tear, but it has never let me down. I own several Breitlings, a Rolex, and three other EcoDrives, but somehow, I almost always put this one on every day.
